Wan and Mou pay respect to the Honorary Royal Thai Consulate General, Jaime Pardo Escandon in Lima, Peru. We inform him of our bike travel and experience. Jaime contact America TV to interview and share our story to Peruvian.

Wan and Mou has finished our trip in Chile on 26 Feb 2003 and have crossed the border to south of Peru on the same day (from Arica, Chile to Tacna, Peru). We are now bicycling from south Peru to the north, taking for 3 months on this route. Our journal in New Zealand and Chile will be posting soon.

 

 

20 February 2003
Wan and Mou has been biking in Chile, South American. We travel from Santiago to the north passing many cities, semi desert and driest desert in the world (Atacama Desert). We are now arriving Arica which is the northest of Chile. On Feb 25, 2003 we will be biking across the border to Peru.

 

 

16 January 2003
Wan and Mou is now biking on the main highway in Chile, South America heading to the north crossing the desert. Our next route is biking in Peru.

 

 

5 January 2003
Wan and Mou say goodbye to The Ambassador Pittaya Pookaman, all staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Santiago and Director of Thai Trade Center. We are now ready to bike in Chile, South America. Our route start at Valparaiso (due to avoiding some tunnels) which is an old seaport and very lively city.

The Ambassador Pittaya Pookaman, Madam Terako and Thai people celebrate King's birthday on Dec 5, 2002 (National Day) at the Ambassador Residence in Santiago, Chile. Thai Cultural Art Performance was showing to all guest. Wan and Mou got opportunity to be part of the event.

Wan and Mou visit Thai Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia and meet the officers on Jan 23, 2002.
